Green Angels Take A Stand

My Dad always said ‘Politics are what suits Love.’

I’ve always surrounded myself with people who have varying viewpoints and opinions and in doing so I like to think they enhance my own personal growth and development.

By keeping an open mind, it allows me to nurture a positive growth mindset.

Critical thinking, debating and chewing the fat is exciting and thought provoking.

I remind myself that opinions aren’t facts, they are simply ideas.

Today, Angels of the Ambulance Service will take a stand.

I hope that everyone who reads my post today are of a similar mindset and understand the importance of their actions. It’s not imperative we share the same opinions or vote for the same political parties but I do hope we share the same values.

You don’t need to have been pulled out of a mangled car or air lifted off a rocky ravine to appreciate their value.

You don’t have to give birth on the floor of a public toilet or be offered a listening ear as you teeter on the brink of a motorway bridge.

You just have to know their worth.

The truth is, not enough money in the world is enough to reward them for their bravery and kindness, a simple wage packet doesn’t even come close.

Our lives are priceless. Our children’s lives are priceless, our Angels lives are priceless.

The only question today should be ‘What do our Angels need?’

‘We are listening.’

And the only answer to that question with true value is…

‘Our Gratitude.’

Anything less, especially in monetary terms is to devalue them and be unappreciative.

Do you and I share the same values?

Do you stand by our incredible Ambulance Service Men and Women?

I hope so.
